Biography

Born on May 11, 1888, Irving Berlin was an American composer and lyricist originally from Russia. He is widely recognized as one of the most influential songwriters in American history. Berlin's musical journey began in 1907 when he published his initial song, titled "Marie from Sunny Italy". In 1911, he achieved his first significant international success with the release of "Alexander's Ragtime Band".
