Biography

Formed in 1990 by Liam Howlett in Braintree, Essex, England, The Prodigy is an acclaimed electronic dance music group from England. They are considered pioneers of the big beat genre, alongside Fatboy Slim, the Chemical Brothers, and other notable artists. The Prodigy achieved mainstream popularity in the 1990s and 2000s, selling over 25 million records worldwide. Throughout their career, the group has won numerous music awards, including two Brit Awards for Best British Dance Act, three MTV Video Music Awards, two Kerrang! Awards, five MTV Europe Music Awards, and they have also been nominated for Grammy Awards twice.
