Ephraim Manessah Sykes, an American actor, was born on July 17, 1985, in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is widely recognized for his notable performances in various stage productions. Sykes portrayed the character of George Eacker in the highly acclaimed Broadway musical, Hamilton. Additionally, he showcased his talent as Seaweed J. Stubbs in NBC's live adaptation of Hairspray Live! which aired in December 2016. Furthermore, Sykes made his mark in 2017 by originating the role of David Ruffin in Ain't Too Proud, a stage musical that portrays the life of the legendary music group, The Temptations.
