Biography

Born on November 10, 1978, in Philadelphia, Thomas Wesley Pentz is a well-known DJ, producer, rapper, and songwriter. He is more commonly recognized by his stage name Diplo. Alongside DJ Low Budget, he co-operates Hollertronix, a popular club and music collective. Diplo also established and oversees the record label Mad Decent, and he is involved with the not-for-profit organization called Heaps Decent. In addition to his musical endeavors, he has previously worked as a school teacher in Philadelphia.
