Biography
Jay Wayne Jenkins, born on October 12, 1977, is an American rapper known by his stage name Young Jeezy. He is a member of the hip hop group United Streets Dopeboyz of America (USDA) and was previously associated with BMF (Black Mafia Family). Jeezy began his career in 2001 with an independent label and later joined Boyz 'N Da Hood in 2005. In the same year, he released his debut solo major label album called Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. One of its singles, "Soul Survivor," featuring Akon, achieved great success and reached the top ten on the US charts.
