Bon Jovi, hailing from Sayreville, New Jersey, is an American rock band. They came together in 1983 and currently comprise lead vocalist Jon Bon Jovi (born John Francis Bongiovi, Jr.), guitarist Richie Sambora, keyboardist David Bryan, drummer Tico Torres, and bassist Alec John Such. Throughout their career, Bon Jovi has maintained a relatively stable lineup, aside from Alec John Such's departure in 1994 and Richie Sambora's departure in 2013. The band is widely recognized for effortlessly blending heavy metal and pop genres.
