Biography

Hilltop Hoods, an Australian hip hop group, was formed in 1987 in Adelaide, South Australia. The group originally consisted of Suffa (Matt Lambert), MC Pressure (Daniel Smith), DJ Debris (Barry Francis), and DJ Next (Ben Hare), who left in 1999. Their musical journey began with the release of their first extended play, Back Once Again, in 1997. Since then, they have gone on to release six studio albums, three DVDs, and even a "restrung" version of their 2006 album, The Hard Road. The group has achieved great success with three of their albums peaking at number one on the ARIA Albums Charts: The Hard Road, State of the Art (2009), and Drinking from the Sun (2012). Additionally, two of their tracks, namely "Chase That Feeling" (2009) and "I Love It" featuring Sia (2011), have reached the top 10 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
