Biography
David Guetta, born on November 7, 1967, is a French house music producer and DJ. He started his career as a DJ in nightclubs during the 1980s and 1990s. Guetta co-founded Gum Productions and released his debut album, Just a Little More Love, in 2002. He went on to release Guetta Blaster in 2004 and Pop Life in 2007. His 2009 album, One Love, included several hit singles such as "When Love Takes Over" featuring Kelly Rowland, "Gettin' Over You" featuring Chris Willis, Fergie & LMFAO, and "Sexy Chick" featuring Akon. "Sexy Chick" reached the top five in the US, while all three singles reached number one in the UK. Another popular single from the album was "Memories" featuring Kid Cudi, which reached the top five in many countries. Overall, Guetta has sold over three million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. In 2011, he was voted the number one DJ in the 'DJ Mag Top 100 DJs' fan poll.
