Biography

Chumbawamba was a British band known for their alternative music. They explored various genres such as anarcho-punk, pop, world, and folk music throughout their three-decade-long career. The band's political beliefs aligned with anarchism, as they challenged authority in an irreverent manner. They were vocal about their stances on different issues including animal rights, pacifism (early on), class struggle, feminism, gay liberation, pop culture, and opposition to fascism.
