Biography
Soulive, the funk/jazz trio, hails from Woodstock, New York. They are highly acclaimed for their impressive solos and catchy, lively tunes. The band comprises of Eric Krasno on guitar, Alan Evans on drums, and Neal Evans on the Hammond B3 organ, bass keys, and clavinet. While they initially formed as a trio, Soulive has collaborated extensively with various horn sections over the years. From 2000 to 2003, Sam Kininger played the saxophone, and from 2003 to 2006, Rashawn Ross (trumpet) and Ryan Zoidis (saxophone) joined forces with the band. Additionally, Toussaint Yeshua served as the vocalist from 2006 to 2007. Presently, Soulive is on tour with their original trio lineup, featuring Eric Krasno, Alan Evans, and Neal Evans.
