Biography
Formed in Manchester in 1991, Oasis was an English rock band that evolved from a previous group known as the Rain. The band initially comprised Liam Gallagher (lead vocals, tambourine), Paul Arthurs (guitar), Paul McGuigan (bass guitar), and Tony McCarroll (drums). However, upon their return to Manchester, Liam's older brother Noel Gallagher (lead guitar, vocals) joined as a fifth member, solidifying the band's core and establishing the definitive lineup. While the band experienced several changes in their lineup over the years, the Gallagher brothers remained as the essential members.
