Adam Ant, whose real name is Stuart Leslie Goddard, was born on November 3, 1954 in Marylebone, London. He is a well-known English musician who rose to fame as the lead singer of the New Wave/post-punk band, Adam and the Ants. Later on, he pursued a successful solo career, with ten of his songs reaching the top ten in the UK charts between 1980 and 1983, including three that reached No.1. Adam Ant also achieved stardom in the United States, where he not only had a series of hit singles and albums but was also voted by MTV viewers as the sexiest man in America. Besides his musical talents, he is also an accomplished actor, appearing in more than twenty films and television episodes from 1985 to 2003.
