Das EFX is a hip hop duo from the United States. The group is made up of two emcees, Skoob (also known as Books) and Dray (also known as Krazy Drayzy). Skoob, whose real name is William "Willie" Hines, was born on November 27, 1970. Dray, whose real name is Andre Weston, was born on September 9, 1970. Their rise to fame in the early 1990s was due to their association with EPMD's Hit Squad and their unique lyrical style. They became known for their stream of consciousness delivery, which was highly influential in the hip hop music scene at that time. Their style combined nonsensical lines with a rapid flow, often incorporating words that ended with "-iggedy," as well as referencing various aspects of pop culture.
