Biography

Melvin Babu, commonly known as DJ Babu, is a distinguished DJ and producer of Filipino-American descent. He is an integral part of the hip hop group Dilated Peoples, along with Rakaa Iriscience and Evidence. Furthermore, Babu is a member of the renowned Beat Junkies DJ crew and collaborates with rapper Defari to form the powerhouse duo, the Likwit Junkies. Notably, DJ Babu, Evidence, and Pharoahe Monch showcase their talents on the track H! Vltg3 from []'s Reanimation album. He resided in Oxnard, California for one year before relocating to the neighboring city of Camarillo.
