Biography
Born on 31 July 1948, Russell Norman Morris is an acclaimed Australian musician known for his skills as a singer-songwriter and guitarist. He achieved remarkable success in the late 1960s and early 1970s with five of his singles reaching the Top 10 in Australia. Morris' talent and contribution to the music industry were officially recognized on 1 July 2008 when he was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Additionally, his iconic track "The Real Thing" was included in the National Film and Sound Archive's prestigious Sounds of Australia registry in 2013.
