Biography
PJ Morton (born as Paul Morton Jr.) is an American Grammy Award-winning writer and producer as well as a solo artist who is currently the stand-in keyboardist in pop-rock group Maroon 5. A New Orleans native, Morton’s feel-good, soulful pop music tells stories about life and love. On March 27, 2012, PJ released his first solo project, the free EP entitled "Following My First Mind", on Lil Wayne's Young Money Entertainment. The lead single, “Heavy”, features Adam Levine, the lead singer of Maroon 5 and NBC’s The Voice coach. Other guest artists on the EP include Lil Wayne, Jazmine Sullivan and Chantae Cann. PJ is currently working on his debut full-length album.
