Meat Loaf, also known as Michael Lee Aday, is an American musician and actor best known for his contributions to hard rock. His notable work includes the Bat Out of Hell album trilogy, which consists of Bat Out of Hell, Bat Out of Hell II: Back Into Hell, and Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster is Loose. The first installment of this trilogy has sold over 43 million copies worldwide and continues to sell about 200,000 copies each year, even after 35 years. It remained on the charts for an impressive nine years, solidifying its status as one of the best-selling albums in history.
