Biography

Richard West, also known as Mr. C and Sycophant Slags, is a British DJ, musician, actor, and rapper. He gained fame as the frontman for The Shamen during their most successful period. West is recognized as a prominent figure in the tech house genre, which combines elements of house and techno music. He is a co-owner and co-founder of London's popular nightclub, The End, alongside Layo from Layo and Bushwacka!. In addition to his DJing career, West has been involved in various music projects and has mixed albums such as Fantazia DJ Collection 3 - Back to the Old Skool, Psycotrance vol 1, X-Mix 6, Sunterrain 100% Unreleased, and Superfreq Express.
