Biography
John Alberto Leguizamo, born on July 22, 1964, is an American multi-talented artist. He has made a name for himself as an actor, stand-up comedian, film producer, playwright, and screenwriter. Leguizamo rose to fame through his roles in the action comedy Super Mario Bros. (1993) as Luigi and the crime drama Carlito's Way (1993). He is also known for voicing Sid the Sloth in the Ice Age animated film series (2002–2016) and for his narration in the sitcom The Brothers García (2000–2004). With an extensive career spanning over 75 films and 10 productions as a producer, Leguizamo has been honored with various awards for his work on Broadway, performed in multiple TV shows, and taken part in numerous television productions.
