Biography
Jill Cunniff, an American musician, was born on August 17, 1966. She is known as a member of the band Luscious Jackson. Cunniff was born in New York City and attended college in San Francisco. Upon returning to New York in 1991, she collaborated with her friend Gabby Glaser to form Luscious Jackson. Within the band, Cunniff plays bass, sings lead vocals, and holds the role of chief songwriter. Cunniff made a guest appearance on the 1996 episode, "Surprise", of the Cartoon Network/[adult swim] series Space Ghost Coast to Coast, being interviewed as herself by Zorak. Later, Cunniff and fellow Luscious Jackson member Vivian Trimble joined forces as Kostars and released an album in 1996. In 2002, Cunniff started a house music group called the Cooler Kids. In early 2007, she released a solo album titled City Beach.
