An East Coast hip hop group called Bravehearts originated from the Queensbridge housing projects in New York City. The initial lineup of the group consisted of Jungle (birth name Jabari Jones, son of jazz trumpeter Olu Dara and younger brother of hip hop star Nas), Wiz (birth name Mike Epps), and Horse (birth name E. Gray). In 2002, Horse departed from the group, and Jungle and Wiz continued as a duo. Eventually, Wiz was replaced by Nashawn, who is Nas' cousin.
