Based in London, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a renowned British orchestra. Widely recognized as "The Nation's Favourite Orchestra," it frequently embarks on tours. According to the British Hit Singles & Albums, the RPO was established in 1946 by Sir Thomas Beecham with the intention of creating a superior ensemble that would attract the best musicians in the country. Following Sir Beecham's passing, the orchestra has been led by several prominent music maestros, including André Previn and Louis Clark, who orchestrated its most successful releases.
