Kelendria Trene Rowland, better known as Kelly Rowland, is a multi-talented American artist born on February 11, 1981. She excels in recording, songwriting, dancing, acting, and hosting television shows. Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, she was raised in Houston, Texas. Rowland gained popularity as one of the founding members of Destiny's Child, an American R&B girl group. The group has sold an impressive 50 million records worldwide, making them one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. As a solo artist, Rowland has sold over four million albums and 18 million lead/featured singles across the globe. Her musical accomplishments have earned her numerous accolades, including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame alongside Destiny's Child. She has also earned four Grammy Awards, two Billboard Music Awards, and a Soul Train Music Award. Additionally, the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) and Essence magazine have recognized Rowland for her exceptional contributions to the music industry.
