Biography
Rico Love, born Richard Preston Butler, Jr. on December 3, 1982, is a well-known American singer-songwriter and record producer. He has achieved success through his work as a writer and producer, contributing to hit records such as Usher's "There Goes My Baby" and "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)", Nelly's "Just a Dream" and "Gone", and Beyoncé Knowles' "Sweet Dreams". His contributions to these projects have earned him Grammy-winning accolades, including Beyoncé's Best Contemporary R&B album in 2009 for I Am... Sasha Fierce, Usher's Best Contemporary R&B album in 2010 for Raymond v Raymond, and Usher's Best Male R&B Vocal Performance in 2010 for "There Goes My Baby". Additionally, Love has worked with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Diddy Dirty Money, Chris Brown, Alexandra Burke, Keri Hilson, Fergie, and Fantasia, writing and producing records for them. He also holds the position of CEO at Division1, a record label that partnered with Universal Motown in 2010. Alongside his production work, Love has appeared as a featured artist on tracks with T.I., Usher, Jermaine Dupri, Jamie Foxx, Rich Boy, and Fat Joe.
